PROF-XXI at the «I International Congress of Technology for Medical Education.»

On July 27, 28, and 29, partners of the PROF-XXI project will participate in the «I International Congress of Technology for Medical Education.» This event aims to exchange experiences in the use of technologies for medical education and is intended for teachers, researchers, and administrators from different international medical education institutions.

The event is organized by the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the University of San Carlos in Guatemala, a partner of the PROF-XXI project through the Virtual Education Coordinator, to foster an exchange of experiences on topics that enrich teaching practices mediated by technology.

Meet the Expert Partners of the PROF-XXI Project.

Dr. Carlos Delgado Kloos, Carlos III University of Madrid Vice-Rector for Strategy and Digital Education Director of the UNESCO Chair.

He holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich. He is a Professor of Telematics Engineering at Carlos III University of Madrid, where he also serves as the director of the GAST Research Group and the UNESCO Chair on «Scalable Digital Education for All.»

Dr. Miguel Morales, University Galileo Director of the Digital Education Department

Doctor in Information and Knowledge Engineering from the University of Alcalá de Henares, Spain. He holds a Master’s degree in e-Learning Management and Production from Carlos III University of Madrid. Currently, he coordinates the production of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and MicroMasters for Galileo on edX, and he directs educational innovation projects.

Dr. Oscar Jeréz
Director of the Teaching and Learning Center, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Chile.

Ph.D. in Psychology and Education. Consultant and advisor to government and higher education institutions on innovation and ICTs, curriculum and faculty development, and quality management in Latin America, Europe, and Africa. Currently serves as the director/founder of the Center for Teaching and Learning at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Chile.
